The Mikrotik cAP XL ac Dual Band Ceiling & Wall Mounting Access point is for modern wireless networks. It delivers AC1200 wireless performance across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. The 2.4 GHz band provides speeds up to 300 Mbit/s with 6 dBi antenna gain. The 5 GHz band supports speeds up to 867 Mbit/s with 5.5 dBi antenna gain. This MikroTik wireless access point uses two chains on each frequency band. It supports 802.11b/g/n on 2.4 GHz and 802.11a/n/ac on 5 GHz. The device uses the IPQ-4018 wireless chipset for consistent network processing. A quad-core ARM processor runs at a 716 MHz nominal frequency. It includes 128 MB RAM and 16 MB FLASH storage for RouterOS operation. The MikroTik cAP XL ac features two Gigabit Ethernet ports for wired connectivity. One Gigabit port supports passive PoE-out through Ether2. Passive PoE supports input voltages from 18V to 57V. The maximum total PoE-out is rated at 500 mA. Its ceiling and wall mounting design supports flexible installation in different network environments. RouterOS provides network management and configuration features for administrators. The access point operates across a tested ambient temperature range from -40°C to 70°C. It also offers an approximate MTBF of 100,000 hours at 25°C. With dual-band Wi-Fi 5 support, Gigabit Ethernet, and PoE-out, the cAP XL ac suits homes, offices, hospitality spaces, and business networks. Its compact platform provides strong wireless coverage and straightforward network deployment.
