Cisco Firepower 1200 Next-Generation Enterprise Firewall

The Cisco Firepower 1200 Series is a threat-focused Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) security platform series that provides enterprise resiliency through improved threat defense. When sophisticated threat mechanisms are enabled, it provides remarkable sustained performance. The throughput range of the 1200 Series addresses use cases ranging from the small office, home office, remote branch office, to the Internet edge. Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) is installed on the 1200 Series platforms. A subsequent release will include support for the Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) firewall. To deliver enterprise-level protection, application visibility and management, a next-generation intrusion prevention system, powerful malware protection, and URL filtering all work together.
